Business Development Manager
Specific Tasks:
- Prepare strategic plans for LifeSensors’ services and technologies.
- Ensure a steady flow of quality meetings with partners and prospective partners. Proactively communicate with existing partners.
- Ensure LifeSensors’ team members are adequately briefed on the outcome of partner interest. Provide sufficient information to the LifeSensors team on a prospective partners needs to allow efficient study design and proposal preparation by the LifeSensors team
- Prepare promotional materials in the agreed area of responsibility.
- Assist in negotiating and securing license agreements, feasibility studies and contracts according to company guidelines.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the computerized partner and prospect database, web site and e-marketing activities.
- Carry out market research, competitor and partner surveys as required
PhD or MBA degree with 5 - 10 years experience in corporate business development. Experience with licensing deals is essential. An understanding of biotechnology and the ability to lead the implementation of Global Strategic Plans is essential. Candidate should have demonstrated prodiciency in the following competencies: influencing skills, stakeholder engagement skills, problem solving abilities, decision making skills, excellent communication and analytical skills.
