LifeSensors, Inc., a rapidly growing company located close to historic Valley Forge in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, is developing and marketing a broad technology platform based on ubiquitin and ubiquitin-like proteins such as SUMO. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking highly motivated people to join our energetic team responsible for the identification of enzymes in the ubiquitin pathway and the development of innovative assays and HTS technologies. Our mission is to utilize this platform to facilitate the drug discovery process.
Ubiquitin and the family of small ubiquitin-like modifiers (SUMO) play crucial roles in regulation, degradation, and localization of proteins in the cell. Dysfunction of the enzymes involved in these pathways have been implicated in several disease states, e.g. cystic fibrosis and cancer.
